Richard Wageman is a partner in DLA Pipers Beijing office. Richard chairs DLA Piper's Franchise & Advertising Group in China. Richard has represented numerous companies and corporations with respect to their activities in China, specialising in foreign direct investments, corporate/ commercial transactions and real estate matters, with a focus on franchising and advertising matters. He has advised clients on the establishment of foreign investment enterprises in a wide range of industry sectors and with respect to acquisitions of Chinese domestic companies. Richard also represents a number of international franchisors and advertisers with respect to their activities in China from setting up franchise systems, regulatory filings, reviews of advertising campaign material to all types of commercial/ corporate issues.
