Wageman's passion for the motion picture industry began at age 8, when he made various feature length films, shot on 8mm video in his backyard. In the years that followed, Wageman took to making many more short films throughout high school, exhibiting them to the student body. After graduation, he accepted a placement to the Vancouver Film school. At the age of 18, Wageman went on to produce music videos and commercials, shot on 16mm film.

Unsatisfied with his progress at age 25, and with the dream of becoming a major motion picture Director still in hand, Wageman founded Centurion Pictures Inc. His goal was and is to develop a variety of screenplays and projects which will serve his goals as a Director. After 2 years of development, directing a 35mm demo scene to exhibit his talents, acquiring work Directing Columbia TriStar's Computer Animated Series "Heavy Gear & Max Steele", Wageman was well on his way to his goal. Next he completed work as an Associate Producer on Spiderman - the animated series, for Sony Pictures Entertainment, then took on work as a Producer on Mattel's Hot Wheels Direct to Video movies. Between all this Wageman went on to Produce and Direct his latest short film project - entitled "A Clown's Gift", staring acclaimed performers Eric Johnson and Joely Collins. With the success of "A Clown's Gift" at the Vancouver and L.A. Film Festivals, and being distributed in the US, Canada, China and Europe, Wageman is now embarking on the production of his feature film - What Could Have Been. He is also currently producing a Barbie direct to video movie for Mattel Entertainment.

His company, Centurion Pictures Inc., now services a wide range of production sectors, using the 35mm and HD shooting formats. By sealing key relationships with P.S. Production Services, Director of Photography Michael Balfry (CSC), and award winning performers, Wageman has sealed a talented, solid foundation in place for himself and Centurion to succeed upon.

It has been my pleasure to work with Shea Wageman in his capacity as a Director on the forty-episode television show Heavy Gear for Columbia Tristar. Shea is bright and well organized, and a major talent in his understanding of the technical aspects of his craft. More importantly, he has a skilled and subtle control over directorial choices, mood, tone, acting and staging. His professionalism, friendly attitude and creativity are an extraordinary asset to any team. I cannot recommend him highly enough. To Whom It May Concern:

In June of 2000, I had the pleasure of working with Shea Wageman while he directed a scene from his screenplay The Boys of Fraser Street. I found Mr. Wageman to be professional and knowledgeable in all areas of the shoot. The way in which he worked with the crew, actors, and equipment was commendable.

Having worked as an actor professionally for the past ten years, and having worked with a variety of directors from commercials to feature films, Mr. Wageman displayed all the necessary tools to make the shoot go both smoothly and on schedule. Mr. Wageman treated the entire crew with respect and made the experience enjoyable for all. I would not hesitate to work with Mr. Wageman again and look I look forward to that opportunity once again.
